Born in St-Boniface, Man., Andrina Turenne is a singer, songwriter and musician with strong ties to her Franco-Manitoban and Métis roots. She started singing at a young age, learning traditional songs and harmonizing around campfires with family and friends. She has worked as a recording artist and touring musician for over two decades and has participated in many musical projects, including JUNO award-winning roots band Chic Gamine. Andrina has released seven albums with groups, contributed to over 40 recordings, toured stages and festivals on five continents and performed live for radio and television. Building on years of experience both on and off the stage, she now embraces a new chapter as a solo artist, pulling inspiration from her life experience as well as the history and beauty of the land she grew from. She is currently working towards her debut solo album.
